Most gowns we see are very soiled at the bottom from being dragged on the floor through the church and reception area. Some gowns have makeup around the collar area or an oopsie spill on the front. All gowns (unless you're the ice queen) have perspiration stains both visible and invisible. These stains, if left untreated, along with sunlight or artificial light, will make your gown un-wearable for the next daughter or granddaughter or sibling that would be honored to share your gown.

Hems on gowns are hand cleaned and an anti-sugaring system rids dress of beer, champagne, food and other stains that break down dresses over time. All heir loomed dresses and carefully sealed in a ph neutral box with acid free accessories to preserve your gown for life. Our preservation process is the same process recommended and followed by the Smithsonian Institute. They use this on archival and antique clothing and gowns. No vacuum packing, no shrink-wrapping that accelerates the oxidation and breaking down of your gown.
